Can

From the information I can find, the Hoyt's (father and son) do not know the Saviour. That being said, few things make me weep. This did.

  1. I remember seeing a special on Dateline or some show like that on these two and I gotta admit this is one of the greatest dad's I've ever seen. He said the only reasons he puts himself through these grueling races is so that he can witness the looks of exhiliration on his son's face. Truly inspirational!

  3. Wow Paul I can only imagin the significance and joy this must have for you. It is 8 am here in louisville KY I decided to click to see what the video was about little did I know I would end up blubbering with snot dripping down my nose as I realized that I am that compleatly helpless son. I only hope I can enjoy the work of the father in me as much as he does. It seemes like most of the time we are oblivious to what a loving father we have. Thanks for posting that.

  4. Thank you, Paul. The opportunities to see the successes of what many people would term an "unfortunate" special needs person, is humbling. There was no "unfortunate" look in his eyes only exstacy at competing with the help of his father.

I am once again reminded of my own fatherly shortcomings in light of this as I think on our Father.

  5. Justin -
I only disagree with one thing you wrote - I think you are a great dad and you are doing some great things with the Elisha Foundation. Everybody should get over and see The Elisha Foundation
