It saddens me to see some churches, in the name of human "dignity" and "respect", tear down God-sanctioned institutions like marriage, sometimes even without realizing it. Further, they offer confirmation of their support of the "divorce process", even though the Bible is clear that God hates divorce.
The Church has a clear responsibility to minister to those whose marriages have broken up, but having a ceremony to bless the disunity is a clear misapplication of biblical teaching.
