Romans 8:31-39

Therefore, what shall we say to these things?

No enemy too strong! (God gave His Son for us – ultimate sacrifice!)
If God (whom indeed did not spare his own son, but delivered him up on behalf of us all!) if this God is for us, then who is against us?!
How will he not freely give all things to us also with him?

No sin too awful! (God’s Son justifies us – ultimate atonement!)
Who shall “call in” the “called out” of God!? God is the one justifying, who is the one condemning?! Christ Jesus is the one having died, better, the one having been raised – who is in the realm of “the right” of God, who also is interceding on behalf of us.

No persecution too fierce! (God’s Son loves us – ultimate commitment!)
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
Affliction?
Or a pressing difficulty?
Or persecution?
Or hunger?
Or a lack of clothing?
Or danger?
Or a dagger?
Just as it is written that:
“We are being put to death for your sake all the day.
We were imputed (reckoned) as sheep of slaughter.”
But, we are being more than conquerors in all these things through the one having loved us! For I have been convinced that:
neither death nor life,
neither angels nor rulers,
neither present things nor things about to be,
neither powers,
neither height nor depth nor any other created thing
will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord!
