I think it's unfair to penalize those of us who can't plan and pay ahead like this. Some of our churches are on tight budgets in this economy and we have to evaluate month by month.Dave
I am sorry you feel that way, Dave. In reality, I think we are blessing more than punishing. As I explained in an earlier post, by getting registrations in advance we can significantly reduce the cost of the conference. For example, imagine the cost difference of buying food for 100 or 200 people. If we know a fairly exact amount of registrants in advance, we buy just what we need and no more. This saves money and we keep the registration cost lower.So, as tight as budgets may be, the greater good is accomplished by this model.Let me know if you are not able to make it though (due to cost) as it is our goal that no one will be turned away for that reason.All the best!PWM
