I think his use of the metaphor as an explination would have been useful, but it was applied in a most bizzare and definately not God honouring way.
I'm also thinking of a parallel to Hamlet here, which the minister seriously missed. The "Fool for Christ" idea could have went somewhere God honouring, but it appears it only went somewhere that gives an occasion to mock the Church.
What? He is absolutely crazy- how could you think that is worshipping? It brings tears to my eyes..
