I apologize for my team's effort on Saturday night. By prolonging the inevitable, by not putting the Leafs and their fans out of their misery, the inevitable misery of the 2006-2007 season, they have allowed these false hopes to further grow in the minds of the Leaf nation. I'm sure by the end of this week, the fat lady will be given her cue!
